Witnesses report to have seen Corporal Sanchez frequenting one of the local island bars until late at night. Sergeant Paulino Reyes, also of the San Pedro Police Department arrived at the bar’s beachfront location where he met up with Corporal Sanchez. Witnesses claim that Sergeant Reyes was accompanied by two Belize Defense Force soldiers. Chances are that you have seen them flying over Ambergris Caye, and if you were wondering what the “golf carts with wings” are, they are ultra-light planes. The ultra-light planes will not be used for commercial transportation and according to the investors; it will only be used for recreational flying.

The recreational flights will be another added adventure for local and visitors to San Pedro Town to enjoy a complete aerial view of La Isla Bonita. The ultra-light planes are just two of five that will be offering flyovers over San Pedro, Ambergris Caye and Lamanai in the Orange Walk District. Read more on the ultra-lights plane in the next issue of The San Pedro Sun Newspaper.

A graduate of the National Taiwan College of Arts and the University of Illinois and New York University, Lee began his career by serving as Assistant Director on Spike Lee’s student film, Joe’s Bed-Stuy Barbershop: We Cut Heads. After writing a couple screenplays, he eventually appeared in the film scene with Tui shou. He continued with his great work garnering Golden Globe and Oscar nominations. Sense and Sensibility was his first Hollywood-mainstream movie. His career continued with works such as The Ice Storm, Ride with the Devil, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Chosen.
