Reina de la Costa Maya 2008 arrives July 31, 2009

2008 Reina de la Costa Maya Jennifer Chiong arrived on La Isla Bonita today. She now joins the eight Reina de la Costa Maya delegates and will be present for tonight’s event – Noche San Pedrana hosted by the San Pedro Lions Club. Tickets are available at $25 and can be purchased at the Lions Den. Limited seating available.

Belize Electricity Limited advises its customers in the Corozal District, Orange Walk District and Ambergris Caye that the supply of electricity will be temporarily interrupted from 7:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. and from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2009.

Areas to be affected: the entire Corozal District, Orange Walk District and San Pedro Town.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this outage is necessary for the Company to perform maintenance works and upgrade the distribution system in the area.
